I thought it would be fun to gather a selection of some of the best photos taken in Paris on my recent visit. It is my nature or a habit to simply take photos of anything that catches my eye or inspires me on any day. I can’t help it!  Often these images are of shoes of course. These are merely an eclectic photo-journal of spontaneous images from shopping, to walking through Montmarte to a uniquely French cuisine at a small restaurant.

Especially in Paris, fashion and beauty are embedded in the feeling of the city and energy that attracts someone like myself that had only been once once before as a young girl. Although, the moments we remember on any adventure or excursion are rarely those landmarks everyone says you must visit or the clothes we buy but the people we interact with along the way and the unique images that represent your journey.

These Dries Van Noten pumps are just so chic and in a perfect summer blue! I actually took this photo after spotting the shoes from across the street while running. Adore the pointy toe with a square in step. On the wish list!

At Gallery Lafayette, the ceiling itself is worth the venture inside! While it is a great store to splurge if you wish and their shoe floor is grand, the lingerie department is what had me mesmerized. Bloomingdales or Saks do not have this much lingerie. The best part was when I took this photo near the cafe I ended up having a glass of champagne and some much needed girl talk. Those are the best moments!

And yes while I honestly did not buy shoes, I bought a few pieces of French lingerie and some gifts! Why not?!
